Structural live bee removal from residential properties. I relocate your honey bees from your house to

Glad we found Mike from Bee life Bee Removal. Got a few quotes from others that were outrages. After speaking with Mike he came over to see how small or big the issue was. We then decided to go with Mike. Glad we did. He was honest, did a clean job, and quoted a fair price. He was very informative on the bees and educated us on them as well. Highly recommend him for your bee re-locating/removal needs. Thank you Mike!

I called 3 bee removal companies. Two of them didn't call back. I called one of them the next day and they quoted a price of $370 to remove a swarm from my house. I called Mike at Bee Life Removals and he answered right away and came out within hours and removed the hive humanely and relocated it. He charged much less and did a super job. I recommend him very highly.

Mike was super prompt and helpful after a swarm of bees decided to camp out on our lawn. After collecting the bees, he took the time to look around our property to see where they came from and make sure there wouldn't be more swarms. Very grateful that he came over on a weekend. Seemed like a very good price to us.

The first time Mike came by, he was great and he tried his best to get rid of the bees. Then I noticed the bees came back and I called him and he said he is busy for a month. So I waited and because I waited (which I shouldn't have) the hive grew bigger and bigger. Then when he finally came by, he gave me a new quote that was astronomically different and quite absurd. I should have found someone else and not waited for him. He should be upfront with customers and tell them that he is a one man team and that he obviously can't handle the business. Better buying a suit off Amazon and doing it yourself. Waste of my time

Leo Temory of Gladys Dr. called me in the spring stating he had a clump of bees off his balcony wall. He had concern about doing anything. I told him it was better to collect it now before they enter a hole in the structure and they have to be expelled out. I gave him the price of $200 which the rate at that time of year is about $250-$300. He agreed to have me come over. When I got there someone had doused the swarm with water leaving a group on the wall, more fallen down the hillside, the rest everywhere airborne in and out of the bottom open construction floor plan. I collected what I could and recommended to close off the doorway to prevent future problems. He shook his head like he didn’t need to do that.
The following day he calls me stating there are still some bees and his workers don’t want to come over. This is when the news showed bees attacking people in Encino on another company’s botched bee removal. I went right back over finding a small clump of bees underneath ceiling insulation about 10’ from the open doorway. I collected the bees removing them from the property. I also pulled the insulation down along that row across the room checking for bees. Never heard anything back from him till 5 weeks later. He says the bees are back. I told him they were new bees. He says yeah whatever. I already paid you so you have to come back and remove them. I don’t know how he thinks he can dictate my time, business, pricing and work. Am I supposed to give a season of free bee removal because he doesn’t have the sense to put a door on or money to finish the basement addition at my expense? I have paying work lined up I am out doing. He is trying to tell me what days to be there. I follow up and he still needs the work done. I invest a paying workday in my schedule and with good faith haul most of my truck equipment down two flights of stairs in the heatwave which he has some 5’ tall old wood contraption in the middle of the stairs with rusty wires holding it in place on both sides. I have to do an S maneuver down steps over wires and under this platform each trip with equipment.
Looking at this platform and rusty wires I question why workers would use something so weathered. Thats when I realized this is old construction that was paused for a period of time. I see the hive he wanted removed which is new bees because any few leftover bees don’t have the energy to build something like that. This colony is 5’-8’ away from where I removed the previous bees because I can see the staining on the insulation paper from my expulsion fluid. Right on the other side of the ceiling block in the corner there is a heavy amount of bees going under the insulation in the same rafter row. It seemed to me this is where the swarms were coming out of, an old established hive and his workers must have just started back onsite spooking the first swarm out. I informed “Tyrone” that there were two hives and gave him a rock bottom price with 20% off each. Pricing would have been the equivalent of one normal ground level easy access bee removal. Then he stopped communicating completely. I waited and waited as he seemed to hide out. This guy had already made several attempts to get extra free work by his terms so I texted him I’d be back the following day, Saturday. He exclaimed that morning he couldn’t afford it and already paid me. I picked up my equipment and left noticing he’s running an a/c unit half the size of my work truck for his 3 story hillside flat. Four days later he expected me to come back, do the work again for free based on my integrity and re-set up my equipment. That would be an $800 dollar loss at this point plus the additional days. Supposedly this guy owns 3 restaurants and has no concept of a days wage. He paid $200. I was there 3 times. He wanted me there a 4th time which would have 3 more visits based on his previous concerns. $200 - $60 taxes = $140 / 7 visits = $20 a day. That isn’t even legal in California plus working multiple hours a day. On further seeing who this guy was, he’s gone out of the country twice with his brother for a tv show where they try and spend as little as possible getting by on the generosity of others.
I’ve interacted with well over 1,000 bee colonies over the past decade and have clientele all throughout the southland. Not too many people expect a business to work for next to nothing along with exceptional service. I’ve done work for multiple restaurant owners who give up most of every day just to keep their one business going especially through covid when most are shutting down. A customer who has no concept of a days pay, owns 3 restaurants in the same city during covid ppp loans, goes out of the country on gypsy expeditions and posts under a fake name and race seems like someone trying to scam to me.
I’ve always stood behind my work done guaranteed. However, I don’t do future work for past pay. As the saying goes, ‘One has to set limits because takers never do.’ - Beatrice M.Los Angeles, CA41296Feb 10, 2021
Mike was so great. He responded so quickly to my inquiry, came out the next day, and put my case as priority because I have small children.
We thought we had a beehive in our boiler room but it was in our wall after Mike used his camera to look for it. He came cleared that up for us at a reasonable price and was thorough with his explanations. He worked fast, was very polite, and our family is very happy with the job well done.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David T.Montrose, CA02910Mar 16, 2023
I had a bee hive in the crawl space of my rental unit. I had an bee box sitting around and had wanted to populate it. Michael was the only one of three bee removal experts that was willing to relocate them to my bee box.
His price was very fair and also gave me tips on caring for the bees.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mango A.Los Angeles, CA72129May 31, 2022
We just moved into a new house and found out we had a bee infestation in the backyard. We were hosting a birthday party and needed the bees to be gone. Mike was very prompt and honest throughout the whole process. He kept us in the loop as to what he was doing and very knowledgeable. He is someone I would highly recommend.

I got a quote for bee removal and tried to schedule an appointment but never got a reply back. The first time, he sent a text saying he was busy and could not keep
corresponding and asked me to text him Sunday if I still needed. I thought his response sounded a little bit rude considering that I was straight forward and as soon as I got the quote I just tried to scheduled the appointment, but decided to give him the benefit of doubt because sometimes text messages can't be misinterpreted. When I texted him back with my schedule asking if he would be available he never replied. Terrible way to treat a customer. Would give him zero stars!!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Tim of Canyon Dr (Nana F.) also posted a similar google review under a different name, Renata Kennard. Here’s my previous response on the second account review. I’m closed on Saturday as the business hours state. You had not become a customer of mine. Wednesday, after responding to your email, I requested you text as its an easier format for me to manage. You continue to email me which I respond. An hour later you text the same email which I responded to the same. I told you I could possibly be there later in the day, but I needed to start working on the job I was already at. I was able to complete it and told you I could be there in 30 minutes. You said you wanted to wait a few days. Its a small clump of bees on an outside composter with the lid off so its already been opened up and not habitable for bees. You asked for early Saturday service on a day I am closed or early Monday morning. I don’t work early hours as my business hours show. Since you didn’t allow me to do the job when my schedule was open and seemed you are waiting to see if the bees leave, I cannot try and dedicate multiple days for a less than minimum wage job that might not even happen. I already have pending work and am communicating with multiple people in between removing bees. You never contacted me Sunday as I asked. Instead it was Saturday evening when I’m closed and at a sporting event. Monday afternoon when I’m on a metal roof pulling a hive out of a chimney, you are leaving negative reviews on multiple sites because I didn’t respond to you when I was closed.
In conclusion, yelp businesses are forced to deal with “the few” bipolar, grandiose narcissists who think everyone is waiting to serve their every need. They want to drag out communications during closed hours and weekends for grandiosity which is quite disrespectful. They are born with a silver spoon in their mouth, never worked hard in their life, and feel completely entitled that everything must lead to them. They are usually 20 year old females but sometimes apparently they are +50 year old males with troll accounts like Nana F(ooking business). The whole account is reviews of people didn’t call him back, used the word busy or went on vacation and a piece of furniture wasn’t good enough for him. This guy has no idea how the flow of real business society works or how everyone manages what they can. I could tell pretty quickly Tim was a time waster. Not sure what he was looking for but it sure didn’t seem like bee removal. - Rob B.Los Angeles, CA12656May 26, 2020
After hiring two other bee removal companies with less than satisfactory results, we found Mike @ Bee Life Bee Removals. We had an ongoing issue with a retaining wall on our property and then found out the bees had made their way into our attic as well. I, too, like one of the other reviewers am deathly allergic to bees and had used 3 Epipens within 3 months. Mike was able to come out several times to eradicate our bee situation. He did a very thorough job and to date, we haven't had any additional issues. He is reasonably priced and does great work. I highly recommend him!

BEES are fascinating. They are incredibly intelligent ... and I am highly allergic. So when I found that they were trying to move in to my house, I had to act fast. Mike came out promptly that day. He informed me that the situation was serious and he handled it right away. I was very impressed with his skills and knowledge. He answered all of my questions and charged me fairly.
Then when they tried to move in the following day, Mike came out immediately and resolved the issue.
I will definitely call him whenever I'm feeling like I may need to grab my Epi-pen.
Highly recommend!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
